An IFRI related study examining deforestation and protected areas in the Amazon rainforest was published in the most recent edition of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences Jounal (PNAS). Christoph Nolte, IFRI affiliate and PhD Candidate at University of Michigan, lead-authored the study and worked with Arun Aragwal, IFRI Coordinator.
