...exploring how people shape the world's forests

May 27-28th, 2014: IFRI meeting at SESYNC

IFRI researchers will convene at the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) in Annapolis, Maryland, from May 27-28. The meeting will be the third and final Venture meeting supported by SESYNC, and will see the presentation, discussion, and finalization of a series of new papers that use IFRI data to explore social and ecological outcomes in community-managed forests. Papers will variously explore the trade-offs between different outcomes, and will use new time-series data to assess changes in forest condition and livelihoods.
