Johan Oldekop
Johan is a Marie Curie Research Fellow currently based here at IFRI. His research focuses on both rural development and the conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem services. Johan has worked on community forestry and food security, and the link between natural resource management policies and conservation outcomes in several countries and currently has ongoing research projects in three of the world’s biodiversity hotspots: the Ecuadorian Amazon, the Brazilian Atlantic Forest, and the Middle Hills and Terai Region of Nepal.
